Dana Petty came to Columbia County 911 in September, 2007. Prior to his arrival here, Dana worked for two years as a dispatcher for the New York State Police at Troop K Headquarters in Poughkeepsie.

Dana relocated to Columbia County in 1999 after serving eight years in the U.S. Navy where his last duties saw him assigned to the Information Technology Dept. at NAS Brunswick, Maine.

Dana has been a member of Livingston Pumper Company #1 for the last eight years and also a volunteer at Greenport Rescue Squad for the last two years. Dana is a 1989 graduate of Granville High School in Washington County. He resides in the Town of Claverack with his fiancee, Heather and his son, Devon.
