Lori Bartlett was the 2nd "new" dispatcher to be hired for the newly forming Columbia County 911 Center in August of 1994. Lori helped to build the databases that would be used to launch the 911 system by assisting with hundreds of hours of data entry. After 29 years of dedicated and honorable service, Lori retired from her Full Time position at Columbia 911. She has chosen to stay on with us in a Part Time roll, covering open shifts when needed.
Prior to being hired by the county, Lori worked for five years as a Computer/Research Assistant for the New York State Senate Finance Committee in Albany.
Lori currently lives in Kinderhook with her husband, David & her children Alex, Abby and Kyle.
Lori retired from Full Time status in August of 2023 after 30 years of service to Columbia County. She still works Part Time for Columbia 911, some days she dispatches and other days you can find her handling all of our Discovery requests.
